Live Nation and Ticketmaster Agree to Merge
VIRTUAL JUNGLE
Ticketmaster Entertainment and Live Nation announced a merger last week to create, essentially, a complete online ticketing monopoly that will further consolidate the music industry. The new entity will be called Live Nation Entertainment, which will combine the world’s most top ticket seller, Ticketmaster, with the world’s largest concert promoter, Live Nation.
