Christina Aguilera is the human version of Britney Spears. I once heard the singer of some band I was watching say that a popular band gets more distant from their audience as their mic system gets more sophisticated. I’m paraphrasing here, but he then said, “You may be able to get to know a guy who sings through a wireless mic, but you will never get to know the guy who uses a headset. None of you will ever know Britney Spears.” And, while chances are you will never get to know Christina Aguilera either, her life choices have stayed rooted on planet Earth over the years.
