All Points West Comes East
The All Points West music festival kicks off August 8 at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey. Spanning three days, and taking place on three separate stages, the event features a rather large and impressive roster of bands, including Radiohead, The New Pornographers, Girl Talk, CSS, Grizzly Bear, Mates of State, Kings of Leon, Animal Collective, Metric, The Roots, Cat Power, Rodrigo y Gabriela, and Rogue Wave. Joining the ranks of these top acts is local Brooklyn band Lowry, the January 2006 Jezebel Music NYC Feature Artist, performing August 8 on the “Queen of the Valley” stage.
The full lineup includes many more great acts (and Jack Johnson).
Those with tickets to the event will have their work cut out for them under the early August sun; but going the distance seems worth it.
