Last Known Settlers Last Known Settlers play pop songs that rock and rock songs that pop. Tehy also play covers, ditties, ballads, and the occasional chantey. They play skee ball and Scrabble, too. They are a very talented band. Silence The Bird Silence The Bird sounds like waiting in line to renew your drivers license at the Department of Motor Vehicles. Emanuel & The Fear Emanuel and the Fear are a ten piece rock band/orchestra consisting of members that have played/toured with Sufjan Stevens, Spoon, Mars Volta, and The National to name a few. The group is a brilliant new approach to the modern rock band consistently capturing the audience with beautifully, intricate scores laced with eloquent, quivering vocals. Red Robot Redrobot is named after an obscure Soviet built weapon prototype that was hoped to be considered a “killing machine.” It was tested mostly in parts of China in the late 1940’s and early 50’s. It later became more widely known as [translated from a Chinese dialect] “a useless piece of crap,” as all the machine could do was “rough people up a bit,” and later when modified, “make a mean cappuccino.” Morning Code Superhero Complex, the debut album from The Morning Code combines elements of modern rock bands like Muse and Coldplay while sharing the influences from earlier artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead. Superhero Complex is focused around emotional melodies, climactic song structures and roaring guitars to create a powerful effect for the listener.
