In truth, it all began when singer/guitarist Patrick Harmon and former drummer Paul Frick joined forces in 2001. Their lineup, monicker, and musical styles changed over the years, but now, along with bassist Erica D'Andrea Gray, they have emerged as a solid and truly formidable hybrid.     The Loom "The Loom is a new emerging NYC act that plays a sort of bucolic folk with many country elements that somehow doesn't sound like country. The stories that populate "Ghost Types" include a diverse collection of such conflicted protagonists: a depression-era film director, a Bangladeshi cab driver, the captain of a doomed steam ship, and a host of others.
